This is first story of a three story newsletter assignment about budget cuts in college athletics. I had the opportunity to interview and discuss with NCAA Wrestling writer and former collegiate swimmer Shannon Scovel on past and present budget cuts surrounding NCAA Athletics. I hope to continue with project with my two awesome writers and interview athletes who have been affected by budget cuts.
